Join us for our Circadian Rhythm Webinar hosted by Vanessa A. Leone, Ph.D.! Vanessa is an Assistant Professor of Animal Biologics and Metabolism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds a B.S. in Animal Sciences and has completed her Ph.D. in Animal Sciences and Nutrition. Dr. Leone’s primary research objective is to identify new microbiome-based techniques that can enhance the metabolic health of both humans and animals. During the event, she will share insights into how microorganisms and our circadian rhythms influence our gut shape and metabolic health. Circadian rhythms are a 24-hour cycle of physical, mental, and behavioral changes that organisms experience. Light and dark have the most significant impact on circadian rhythms, but food intake, stress, physical activity, social environment, and temperature also affect them.
