WDS is excited to be hosting our second annual charity event! This year we will be fundraising to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison!
All proceeds from this event will go to benefit this special organization! There could not be a more impactful time to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison as they finish construction of an expanded and renovated Ronald McDonald House. The House has been home to more than 28,000 families from Wisconsin, and all over the United States. The need for expansion and renovations to the House has grown over the years. Providing a place for families to stay with their children in one of the most trying events of their life is more than a place to sleep at night. The House is a community that comes together to support one another and create hope in the healing process for each child and their families.
Below you will find additional details regarding this year’s event.
The event will take place on Friday, April 26th. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., Trivia will begin at 6:15 p.m., and the event will last until about 10:00 p.m.
This year we are partnering with the Madison Marriott West as our host location!

Similar to last year, teams can be up to 10 players. Feel free to invite your family and friends to join your team or just come have fun at our event!
You do not need a team to participate! Single player entries will be combined together to form teams the night of the event, unless if you register by the Team entry fee. Team entries will be guaranteed a table of their team only, regardless if they have 10 players or not. Entry fees will be collected at the door.
This year we are asking for individual and team registrations to RSVP by Friday, April 12th.
Single Player Entry Fee: $20.00
Team Entry Fee: $200.00
Light fare, lemonade, and coffee will be included with your entry fee. Cash bar will also be available. Every dollar for the event (raffle tickets, entry fees, donations, except: cash bar) will go towards the benefit of the Ronald McDonald Hour Charities of Madison!
There will be raffle drawings throughout the evening between rounds of trivia. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase prior to and at the event. As the event becomes closer we will announce the raffle prizes available to purchase tickets towards. You will not need to be present at the event to claim your prize.
Raffle Ticket Prices:
$1 for 1 ticket
$5 for 10 tickets
$20 for wingspan of tickets
A returning feature of trivia this year is our Mulligans! A mulligan will give you the automatic correct answer for any question you don’t know the answer to.
$10 for 1 Mulligan
$20 for 3 Mulligans (maximum per team)
In addition to Mulligans, we will have multiple short game advantages after each round of Trivia. Points earned form these games can increase that round’s points up to 5x!
Each player of the winning team will receive a variety of prizes for their achievement!
WDS will make a matching donation for each client dollar donated up to $10,000!
Attendees who make a monetary donation will receive a door prize AND the opportunity to nominate charities for future events!
Madison Marriott West will provide free parking for attendees of this event
(not including overnight guests of the hotel).

The Wish List are suggested items needed at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room. Donations must be new and in the original packaging, expired and/or used items will not be accepted.

Pull Tab Program:
Each year the Ronald McDonald House in Madison receives nearly $10,000 in pull tab collections. They have partnered with many McDonald’s restaurant locations in collecting pull tab donations. The little aluminum tabs are recycled for revenue that goes towards supporting the Ronald McDonald House.

“Happy Meal” Dinner & Baking/Casserole Programs:
Families who are out and busy with meetings and other appointments do not have the time or energy to prepare a meal at the end of a long day. The “Happy Meal” Dinner program allows groups up to 12 people to prepare a meal for families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House. The Baking/Casserole program is another opportunity groups can schedule a time to come bake treats for the House guests, or prepare casseroles that can be stored and prepared at a later date.
