Medicare Specialist
Ben is originally from the Madison area, where he attended Queen of Peace and Edgewood High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education and minored in Adapted Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
After teaching for several years at the high school and middle school levels in the Madison area, Ben became a licensed insurance agent focusing on helping people with Medicare and their insurance needs in retirement. As his business expanded, he broadened his services to include dental, vision, extended cancer protection, and life insurance. Ben’s primary role is being a credible educator for those looking to retire and needing guidance to navigate the Medicare process. He teaches his clients about the Medicare enrollment process, what Medicare covers, and their options and entitlements.
Ben offers a variety of Supplemental and Advantage plan options from several companies. His goal is to find a plan that best suits the needs of his clients, both medically and financially. In addition, each fall, Ben helps his clients save money by making sure they have the best Part D plan for the upcoming year. Ben is proudest of his approachability and availability to his clients whenever they have questions throughout their retirement.
Ben married his wife, Becky, in 2006. Together, they have three children: Henry, Hazel, and Wyatt. As a family, they love to go camping, listen to music, and participate in many sports and activities, such as hockey, football, volleyball, lacrosse, golf, water skiing, and snow skiing. As a former physical education teacher, Ben still finds a way to work with kids by helping coach the various teams his children are a part of.
