Financial Advisor
Jacob Marty joined WDS in 2022. Jacob is currently focused on achieving the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation and studying for his Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. As a Financial Advisor, he is dedicated to supporting local communities and values building personal relationships with clients to help them navigate their financial challenges, and enjoys the process of helping clients put together their retirement “puzzle”.
Raised on his family’s dairy farm in Monticello, Jacob graduated as valedictorian of his high school class. He earned a degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the Chancellor’s Leadership Award in 2014. Following graduation, Jacob continued working on the family farm and eventually established a direct-to-consumer business to market sustainable farm products and support conservation efforts. His wife, Carly, joined the farm in 2022, taking over managing the day-to-day responsibilities, and enabling Jacob to pursue a career in finance. Despite his new career path, Jacob remains actively involved with the farm, working some mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Jacob and Carly celebrated their wedding on the farm in September 2023, and welcomed their daughter, Arden, into their family in November 2025. In his free time, Jacob enjoys family time and various competitive activities, from basketball and board games to bag toss and euchre, as well as spending time outdoors golfing or attending live music events with friends.
