Financial Advisor Support Coordinator
Jacob joined WDS in April 2022 and is currently a Financial Advisor Support Coordinator. He is studying to pass his final licensing exam to become a financial advisor, and then will work towards his AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) Designation. He is passionate about supporting local communities and enjoys getting to know clients and working with them to help them “solve their puzzle”.
Jacob grew up in Monticello on his family’s dairy farm and graduated valedictorian of his high school class. He earned a degree in Wildlife Ecology from UW-Stevens Point where he graduated summa cum laude and earned the Chancellor’s Leadership Award in 2014. Since graduating from UWSP, Jacob has been working on the family farm alongside his father and built a direct-to-consumer business to market their sustainable farm products and support conservation on the farm. His fiancé, Carly, joined the farm in 2022 and is taking over management of the business which allows Jacob to pursue a career in finance. Jacob is still involved with the farm where he frequently works mornings, evenings, and weekends helping with chores and working on new projects.
Jacob and Carly are getting married on the farm in September 2023, and are looking forward to building a home and starting a family in the coming years. In Jacob’s free time he enjoys any type of competition or game, whether basketball, board games, bag toss or euchre, and getting outdoors for exercise or enjoying live music with friends.
