Financial Advisor Support Coordinator
Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, Jason has lived and worked in the Madison area since earning his B.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2012. While at UW, he began his career in financial services, obtaining his Series 7, Series 66, and Wisconsin Life & Health licenses, serving as an Investment Advisor Representative and fiduciary with John Hancock Financial Network.
For more than a decade, he has been engaged in conversations about financial markets, retirement income planning, and helping individuals and families make sense of money in an increasingly complex world.
Over the years, Jason took a step away from the financial industry and broadened his professional experience across multiple industries, including advanced manufacturing, automation, and pharmaceutical production. Working in roles where he gained hands-on experience in engineering processes, problem-solving, and working with globally recognized organizations. This breadth of experience gives him a practical, real-world perspective that complements his financial expertise. Currently, Jason supports the advisor team at WDS while working toward re-licensure and continued professional development.
Outside of his professional life, Jason is very connected to the Madison community. He enjoys trail running, hiking, rock climbing at Devil’s Lake, time on Lake Mendota, and life outdoors with his dog. An independent artist since 2009, he continues to paint and draw, maintaining a small studio at home and occasionally accepting commissions. Jason values community, family, and ongoing professional development.
