Client Support Coordinator
Kearstin joined WDS in September 2025 as a Client Support Coordinator, bringing background in culinary arts and hospitality management. In this role, she supports Advisors with day-to-day operations, including scheduling meetings, client communication, tracking transactions, preparing paperwork, and welcoming clients and guests. Kearstin’s strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and client-focused mindset help ensure a seamless experience for both clients and the team.
Kearstin earned a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts from Nicholls State University, with a minor in Business Administration. During college, she completed an internship in Côte d’Ivoire under French-Ivorian Chef Charlie Koffi, held a leadership position at the Augusta National’s Masters Tournament for three years, and interned at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL. After graduation, Kearstin worked at a James Beard Award–winning restaurant in New Orleans before returning to Illinois, where she launched a private chef business.
Over time, Kearstin realized that what she value’s most are community, continuous learning, and meaningful connections, even beyond the kitchen. These priorities inspired a career shift, leading to a role where she could continue supporting others in a new way. WDS stood out as a place where those values are not only shared but encouraged, and she is excited to grow both personally and professionally in this new role.
Outside of work, Kearstin enjoys all genres of music, multimedia projects, painting, calligraphy, learning about wine, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves hosting dinners, exploring new places, and learning about different cultures through food and travel.
