With over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Manjula Hettiarachchi serves as the Lead Financial Strategist at WDS where he works closely with advisors to uncover value-driven opportunities for clients and prospects. His knowledge spans financial planning, taxes, and portfolio management, enabling him to deliver exceptional results tailored to each client’s unique goals. Manjula’s dedication to turning vision into reality – while ensuring clients fully grasp the value being added – has earned him a reputation for clarity and trustworthiness.
Manjula holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston. He is both a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Throughout his career, Manjula has worked with both small to mid-sized Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and large financial institutions like US Bank and BMO Harris Private Bank, consistently proving his ability to add value across diverse settings.
Manjula’s passion for delivering value extends beyond his role at WDS. He has served on the Board of Trustees and Endowments for the Diocese of Milwaukee and as a board member for Gilda’s Club. His commitment to fiduciary duty – to both clients and his organization – drives his approach to transparent and trustworthy financial guidance.
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Manjula now resides in Verona, Wisconsin, with his wife, Shevanthi, and their son, Shamal. He is an active member of the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church choir in Madison and enjoys listening to choral music, reading poetry, following sports, and spending quality time with family and friends. Looking ahead, Manjula has a personal goal to explore Kenya, Australia, and New Zealand, continuing his love for travel and discovery.
