Financial Advisor Support Coordinator Intern
Reid joined WDS in September of 2025 Financial Advisor Support Coordinator Intern. In this role, he contributes to the advisory team by helping prepare for client meetings, gaining exposure to client interactions, and developing a strong understanding of the daily workflows involved in financial planning.
Originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, Reid is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he is pursuing a degree in Financial Planning and is on track to complete his CFP® certification in the future. His passion for financial planning began with a love of problem-solving and working with numbers, and quickly grew into a deeper interest in building relationships and helping others navigate their financial journeys. Reid’s coursework has strengthened this growth and technical knowledge of financial concepts, as well as his communication and relationship-building skills.
Outside of work, he enjoys training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, spending time with his girlfriend and friends, and traveling. Reid also loves exploring new restaurants as he is quite food enthusiast.
