Financial Advisor
Tom Brien is a highly experienced Financial Advisor who has been a valued member of WDS since 2017. A distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy (1995), Tom served for 7 years on active duty, followed by 3 years in the Wisconsin National Guard, before embarking on a career in financial planning in 2002.
Tom’s career is marked by a commitment to addressing the investment and insurance needs of individuals and families, with a focus on achieving financial security and fostering client education. He has achieved his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation and holds Series 24 and Series 53 licenses.
In 2025, Tom was awarded the Silver Achievement Award by Harbour Investments, Inc. for his exceptional contributions and consistent excellence.
In his personal life, Tom enjoys outdoor activities such as golf and hiking and is a dedicated supporter of his daughter’s college hockey career. He and his wife, Betty, have been married since 1996 and have two children, Brody and Paige. The Brien family lives in Madison, where they are actively involved in local soccer and hockey teams.
